      Implementing AcademicWorks across many campuses or academic departments can be a challenge. You will walk away with step by step plan on how to roll out AW once your technical implementation is complete. We’ll focus on how to build partnerships across campus, communicate with students and manage a large roll-out even when you’re a one man show!

    • Say Yes to Reviewing Success: Customizing Your Reviewing Process

      The reviewing process is not a hat—it shouldn’t be one-size-fits-all. Join Blackbaud University to learn about common approaches to setting up your review process in AcademicWorks. Explore built-in system tools and communications. Walk through real-life reviewing scenarios, as well as different recommended solutions.

    • Connecting with Students on Smaller Campuses: Strategies to Increase Your Applicant Pool

      Many campuses face multiple challenges when educating students about scholarship opportunities. Join Stacy Buckley and Natalie Daggett from Clovis Community College to learn how CCC has utilized AcademicWorks and personal touch campaigns over the last five years to help increase the overall number of applications received. From conditional and flexible application usage to remote scholarship coordination, come see what these best practices can do for your institution.

    A lot of updates have been released in AcademicWorks over the past year. The product Management team will close out day one of the AcademicWorks conference by sharing all of the new features released since our conference last year. Everyone us sure to walk away with a few tips and tricks to make scholarships and stewardship easier!

      Since AW incorporated the video contest into their annual conference festivities, Pasadena City College has entered every year…and won every year. The project is time-consuming, but amazingly simple. The key is Campus Partners. Join Kris McPeak and find out how you can compete with the 3-time Video Champs (meaning, find out how you can create a Scholarship Promotional Music Video, too!)

    • Higher Education in the Cloud

      Join members of the Blackbaud team to learn about the higher education cloud to help support your entire institution.

    • Scholarship Impact Reporting to Donors
    • Presenters: Ashley Darabaris, Kristen Raiford, Jan McGuire, Auburn University

      In 2016, Auburn University’s Donor Relations won a CASE award for their recently developed, centralized Scholarship Impact Reporting process. By using students’ post-acceptance responses and photo uploads from AcademicWorks to generate reports, Donor Relations collected beneficiary photos, stories, and expressions of thanks to include 2,799 personalized profiles and generated 1,264 Scholarship Impact Reports for Auburn University scholarship donors. Overall, 1,252 scholarship funds were stewarded. This session will include information about the implementation of Auburn’s scholarship reporting process using the post-acceptance data within AcademicWorks.

    • Roundtable Discussion with University of Wisconsin-Madison: Lessons Learned, Challenges, and Best Practices
    • Presenter: Keith Brown, University of Wisconsin- Madison

      Join the University of Wisconsin-Madison for a roundtable session where users can gather with their peers, trade successes and failures, and contribute to the larger discussion of AcademicWorks best practices. The team will provide questions, but feel free to bring questions of your own for the group.
